We are a small, close-knit team of qualified professionals, with proven experience at the sharp end – in mountains ranging from the North face of Ben Nevis in winter, to the frozen ice deserts of Antarctica, to the summits of the world’s tallest 8000m peaks. Summit Guides leaders are recognised faces within the UK outdoor industry, often with over 10 years experience, carefully selected for their hill sense, focus on client needs and personable approach.

Summit Guides was founded in 2012 by Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor Tom Lawfield. Tom’s aim was simple – to provide exceptional small group climbing courses and expeditions.
